Noosa Accommodation and Travel Guide
As you follow the Noosa Coastline past Main Beach, there are a number of small northerly facing bays leading up to the rocky headland of the Noosa National Park. Here you will find some excellent surf breaks, rock pools to explore and sheltered sandy beaches. As this is a National Park area, be aware, it is also a dog free zone so make sure you leave your pet's back at your holiday accommodation.
At Noosa National Park the First Point is a small beach with a small to medium swell and the further you walk along the point to Tea Tree Bay and Granite Bay, the bigger the surf breaks get. If you continue around the South of the headland, you will come across beautiful Alexandria Bay. This is a clothes "optional" beach and is one of the nicer sandy beaches in Noosa and is less populated than Noosa Main Beach in peak tourist holiday season. Continue south and you will come across Sunshine Beach, one of the best surf beaches in the Noosa Sunshine Coast area with kilometres of sandy white beach and barreling almond eye waves.
